Craft Bits & Pieces is located in the Fairport Village Landing Plaza. Unlike many places to shop this holiday season, Craft Bits & Pieces’ sole purpose is charity. Raises funds for Perinton’s Senior Options for Independence, Care Management and Transportation programs.
The store relies on more than 50 volunteers to collect, process, clean, pack and store the thousands of items delivered each week. The store has three full-time managers and is overseen by Joanne Hough, executive director of the Fairport/Perinton Senior Living Council.
True to its name, Craft Bits & Pieces is a dream shop full of fabric, ideas, buttons, scrapbooking supplies, yarn, needles, dried flowers and more. There’s also plenty of fun for non-shelf builders, including home decor items, mirrors, jewelry, puzzles and books.
There are thousands of items, each offered. It is used very gently. New or used, each offering is given plenty of TLC before it hits the shelves.
