Small Business Relief Grant Program – The City of Fountain Valley received a CARES Act Fund allocation of $913,000 from District 2 Auditor Michelle Steel. The city is partnering with the Small Business Development Center hosted by California State University, Fullerton, to implement the Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program. The Riverside County Office of Economic Development is pleased to announce that small businesses that have been adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible to apply for a $2,500 grant according to the stated criteria.

The purpose of the Riverside County Microbusiness COVID-19 Grant Program is to provide assistance to hard-to-reach small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the county.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible small businesses. Applicants will be notified of the approval status within 14 working days from the time the application is made. Awardees will receive funding when Riverside County receives a California Small Business Attorney’s Office grant expected no later than April 2022.

The fund will provide grants to eligible small employers who are facing economic stress caused by the pandemic. A minimum of $455,000 is available for a $2,500 grant for at least 180 businesses.
