The website also includes information on how the city plans to spend a total of $76 million in allocations from the $1.9 trillion U.S. federal stimulus plan. It was signed into law last year by President Joe Biden to aid in the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Erie County Launches Grant Programs For Small Businesses, Venues
The City will begin accepting applications for grants/other assistance. Related to ARP, including funds for various housing projects. In the next few weeks these applications will be processed through the city’s redevelopment agency. Anyone who owns property on the territory of an Erie Downtown Partnership is eligible to apply. Eligible commercial properties include retail and office buildings and multi-purpose buildings with shops, offices and residential apartments combined. If you are a vendor located in a designated area of Downtown Erie but do not own the property you operate. You may still be eligible with the property owner’s consent.
This grant helps small businesses in a designated downtown service area with costs related to compliance, marketing and planning related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is not a refund and subsidy. Up to $5,000 of eligible and approved expenses will be funded. Applicants must be competitive 1:1. Applications are received on a rolling basis and are reviewed and approved by the Rescue + Recovery Agency until funding has been fully allocated.
This grant is a reimbursement grant for commercial exterior improvements including signage, lighting, replacement doors and windows, awnings, masonry, and painting. and applicants are required to compete 1:1. Through this program, EAC will support regional organizations as they mitigate the impact of the pandemic. In line with our efforts to support a broader range of opportunities to engage in the arts and humanities at all stages of life, Erie Arts & Culture administers the Ignite Arts Fellowship Program, a competitive grant program funded through donations to the Erie Arts Endowment and The annual United Arts Fund Project Grant awards up to $2,500 in grants to arts and humanities projects that have a positive social impact in the Erie County community.
Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) grants provide funding throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to support efforts to provide all Pennsylvanians with access to arts programs and/or arts services. Grants PPA receives grants from public dollars. Who Can Apply: Access to the Program Stream is for organizations or programs with an average annual revenue of less than $200,000 whose goal is to ultimately refer for sponsorship through the PPA Program Stream.
Entry into the Application Stream Program is supported by eligible applicants with at least one year of history in the corresponding arts program: Grants may be used to run general programs or projects.

Application: Organizational development for community groups BIPOC offers three levels of support in its success strategy: Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Funds: Base award of up to $7,000 per year in unmatched funds. Mid-level rewards up to $12,500 per year, high-level action rewards up to $20,000 per year.
