Journal Of Small Business Strategy – Factors influencing the implementation of a small business strategy. The case of a used car dealer in some car dealerships in the Nairobi area.

The purpose of this article is to investigate the factors that influence the strategy execution of small business organizations that sell used cars at selected car dealerships in the Nairobi region. The study was conducted according to the design of a case study. The study focused on five used car dealerships in Nairobi: CarMax East Africa, A Plus Motors, Motor Hub Motors, Silverstone Motors and Axis Motors. The target population had an equal opportunity to participate in the study. Data were collected using a quantitative structured questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to determine which group of independent variables were organizational resources. employee engagement management skills & organizational culture – Together predict variables as defined – Strategy implementation or not. Correlation analysis was used to measure the strength of the relationship between two variables and the direction of the relationship. The results of this study showed that organizational factors, including organizational resources p(0.000) which was less than 0.05, employee engagement p(0.003), managerial skills p(0.000), and organizational culture p(0.000), had a positive impact . and Significant effectiveness in implementing the used car small business strategy in Nairobi.
