All of our journals currently offer two Open Access (OA) publishing options. Gold Open Access and Green Open Access.
If you want or need your branded PDF printer (also known as a subscription version) to be available for free immediately after publication, you should choose the golden open access route during the submission process.
If you choose to publish Gold Open Access, the A.P.P. (Article Processing Fee) is where you will be asked to pay. This varies by journal and can be found in the APC price list or in the editorial system at the submission site. Your article is published under the Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 user license, which specifies how readers can reuse your work.
Alternatively, if you want or are required to publish open access, but your funding does not cover the cost of APC, you can choose a green open access or self-archive. Once your article is published, you can have the author’s accepted manuscript (the version accepted for publication) free of payment deadlines and restrictions.
