Get hands-on resources, important updates, and a calendar of training, events, and more EUREKA, CA, Sept. 14, 2018 // — In a new era of safe and legal marijuana in California Growers Alliance Humboldt County Association (HCGA), founded to advance legal interests and Responsible Cannabis Businesses in Humboldt County, announces the energy event MEET THE BUYERS where cannabis growers and distributors can meet and form new business relationships with each other – others more effectively bring high-quality, pure and reliable cannabis to consumers statewide California.
MEET THE BUYERS will provide members of the Cannabis Distribution Association (CDA), which represents a diverse group of cannabis distributors throughout California, with a unique opportunity to meet and greet over 200 licensed cannabis growers in Humboldt County. Humboldt County has the largest concentration of licensed cannabis companies in the state, producing high-quality, pure, and environmentally sustainable marijuana.

We are excited to lead the industry in cultivating important partnerships to strengthen a nationwide network of newly licensed and legal companies, encouraging their success and making the cannabis of the world’s most popular Humboldt readily available to consumers. with over 475 attendees from Humboldt and across the state who want to collaborate to grow their business,” said Terra Carver, Executive Director of HCGA.

He started his professional career at Price Waterhouse & Co. before joining William F. Jackson, An Accountancy Corp. in 1978. In 1987, Gene became a partner and our company name was changed to Jackson & Eklund, An Accountancy Corp. Gene’s specialization is in S-Corporation and corporate taxes. His interests include literature, history and motor racing. He has been a member of the CA Society of CPAs since 1974, AICPA since 1975 and the Rotary Club of Arcata since 1980. [email protected]
Bob graduated from CSU Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He had three years of experience in domestic companies Touche, Ross & Co. and joined J&E in 1984, becoming a partner in 1997. Bob led our audit team for many years and now covers individual and business tax. Outside interests include reading, building, outdoor activities, cooking and spending time with family. Larry joined J&E in 1986 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Humboldt State University. He has been a Partner of the Law Firm since 2003. He is a member of the AICPA and the CA Society of CPAs. Larry specializes in personal and corporate taxation, as well as accounting and auditing. Bryan graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a focus in accounting. He joined J&E in June 1993 and became a partner in 2003. Bryan specializes in nonprofits, sole audits, LLCs, S-Corps, and construction/developer matters. He also advises individual and business clients on tax and accounting matters. Bryan is a member of AICPA, the CA Society of CPAs, the Board of Mad River Montessori Preschool, and the Rotary Club of Arcata Sunrise. Bryan and his wife have two children.
